Innovative Live Interpretation System

By scanning the QR code with their mobile phones, visitors are able to connect to a digital platform and select their preferred language (Greek or English). Simultaneous interpretation in Greek Sign Language will also be provided.
- A mobile phone with internet access is required.
- Visitors must bring their own headphones, as none will be available for sale or loan at the festival.
Access to Talks & Seat Availability
Information regarding how to secure a place at the festival’s talks and events will be announced soon.
Please follow the Athens International Literature Festival website and official communication channels for updates and further details.
Alternative Ways to Attend
The festival ensures that no one is left out of the experience:
- Talks are live-streamed on LED screens in the Auditorium Courtyard and at INNOVATHENS, with no reservation required.
- Visitors can enjoy the program in an open-air setting, in a more relaxed atmosphere.
Festival Experience
The AILF is not only about the main discussions -it is a holistic experience that unfolds across the entire venue, offering every visitor the opportunity to actively participate, regardless of seat availability in the halls. The program is complemented by book signings, masterclasses, and side events, with free admission and on a first-come, first-served basis.
At the Technopolis Shop, as well as at the book café located within the INNOVATHENS space, visitors can purchase books by participating authors published in Greek, as well as official AILF merchandise, taking home a small keepsake of the festival.
