Alongside its discussions and main programme, the Athens International Literature Festival develops a rich programme of parallel events each year, expanding the festival experience beyond the talks & panels. Screenings, guided tours, installations, musical performances, digital experiences, and city-wide activities create new ways for literature to engage with other forms of art and expression.

The side events of AILF will create a three-day, multi-layered experience where literature meets industrial heritage, cinema, music, and cutting-edge technology. Through guided tours of the Industrial Gas Museum and the city, digital art installations, screenings, and parties, the festival expands beyond panels and discussions to transform into a vibrant space for social interaction and creative exchange.
