AUTHOR
Athos Dimoulas
A man of many interests, Athos Dimoulas often finds himself thinking about Jose Saramago’s obsessions, the hidden messages of Roberto Bolaño, the history and the future of reading, the best way to organize a bookcase, Lessing, Bachmann, Gogol, sonnets, and football. The grandson of great poet Kiki Dimoula, he has said in the past that it was only when he tried to write that he learned how to read. An Athenian born and bred, he still lives in the city, where he works as editor-in-chief of K Magazine, the Sunday supplement of major Greek newspaper Kathimerini. He also writes a weekly column on books, covering new releases, old gems and compelling literary stories.
