It’s time for a new chapter in the cultural history of Athens.
The 1st Athens Literature Festival (AILF) is here to put Athens firmly on the global literary map. We are excited and proud to welcome some of the greatest voices in literature today to one of the city’s historic landmarks, a symbol of cultural engagement and urban creativity: the Technopolis City of Athens.
This festival was designed as a celebration of literature open to all – because literature can be both deep and accessible, reflective and disruptive, classic yet timely.
Our goal is to connect the public with books, writers and ideas that spark a dialogue and fire the imagination.
