Lefteris Kalospyros
Lefteris Kalospyros was born in Athens in 1980. He studied history and philosophy of science at the University of Athens, earning an MSc. His work has appeared in literary supplements and reviews, in print and digital media, as well as in the “European Journal of American Studies”. For his first novel The One and Only Family, published by Polis Editions in 2013, he was awarded the National Literary Award for Best Debut Novel as well as the Best Debut Author Prize of The Reader magazine. He is the Greek translator of Anna Kavan’s Ice (Gutenberg, 2023), David Shafer’s Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot (Polis, 2022) and Don DeLillo’s Players (coming soon). Since 2009, he has been working as the head of literature, essays, and foreign rights in the publishing industry.
