She has published six books with a focus on human nature and identity, often grappling with the issue of violence against women, and she loves to deploy science fiction themes and motifs, like cryogenics in her 2020 novel\u00a0<\/span><em>Big Dog<\/em><span>, in order to pose philosophical questions about humanity\u2019s place in an ever-changing world. Born in Kavala in 1975, she studied law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Communications Management in London, and went on to study Creative Writing and Spanish Language and Culture.
