His second novel,\u00a0<\/span><em>The Gene of Doubt<\/em><span>, published in 1999, explores the elusive nature and dark attraction of talent, impressing critics in Greece and abroad. He has written or co-written screenplays for more than ten feature films, including\u00a0<\/span><em>Truants<\/em><span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><em>The King<\/em><span>\u00a0by Nikos Grammatikos and\u00a0<\/span><em>Quiet Hours<\/em><span>\u00a0by Katerina Evangelakou. Since 1997, he has written three short story collections, the novella\u00a0<\/span><em>All Alone<\/em><span>\u00a0and three novels,\u00a0<\/span><em>Ziggy from Marfan \u2013 The Diary of an Alien<\/em><span>,\u00a0<\/span><em>Icon<\/em><span>\u00a0and the widely celebrated\u00a0<\/span><em>The Children of Cain<\/em><span>. His works have been translated in multiple languages. He has taught screenwriting courses at the Stavrakos Film School, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Film School, and the Creative Writing graduate and post-graduate programs of the Hellenic Open University.
